This movement is dedicated to changing the lives of 10,000 young girls this March. Your support will go a long way to help transform the lives of young women confronting period poverty.
With your contribution of R100, you'll sponsor a reusable pack of five pads, ensuring a girl receives as much as five years’ worth of menstrual health supplies. This support is crucial as the lack of access to sanitary products often impedes girls’ educational opportunities.
Our #EmpowerHerFlow campaign complements our ongoing, innovative Period Poverty Project. This initiative empowers 40 young women through training in manufacturing reusable sanitary pads and providing work opportunities at the EOH-Afribiz Period Poverty Hubs in Johannesburg and KwaZulu-Natal.
The project prepares beneficiaries to join a planned cooperative, while their products are set to effectively alleviate the challenge of period poverty.
SUPPORT by making a DONATION,
EVERY R100 GOES TOWARDS EMPOWERING A YOUNG GIRL.
The EOH ESD Hub is dedicated to supporting Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. This initiative seeks to facilitate collaboration between EOH, IOCO South Africa, and EASY HQ, and SMMEs. Aligned with the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), the integration of Economic, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE), it contributes to economic and social transformation.
The SMME sector plays a vital role in the South African economy and ICT sector, necessitating dedicated support for their development and integration into the ICT ecosystem. The establishment of the Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) Hub seeks to fulfil this need by promoting collaboration and innovation within the ICT sector.
Rationale: The Hub follows principles of corporate social responsibility, community engagement, and a commitment to societal and economic transformation. By actively participating in the development of SMMEs, especially women entrepreneurs, larger companies enhance competitiveness and promote innovation within the ICT sector.
